Never fails. No matter how you clean your truck, as soon as you leave the yard it always seems to revert to pre-cleaned condition.

Either that or somebody ELSE gets into it and leaves the yard, then brings it back a mess. . .

...Possily with used chicken bones all over the floor, like the way I found one of our trucks one day.
Mike2633 Thanks this. -
OK, totally off topic here, but your post brings this to mind. There was a few months when I was working down on the border, that the guy on the shift right before me, who had the same patrol unit I was assigned to, was a BIG fan of Colonel Chicken. But he was NOT a big fan of washing his hands.
He always dumped his trash out OK, but jumping into that car in the late afternoon in an Imperial Valley summer, you'd get hold of the steering wheel and it would have all this chicken grease on it. Felt like you could neither hold onto the wheel well enough to steer, or turn loose of the wheel at all. . .

Nah, not off topic. Anything pertaining to disgusting drivers fits well here.

At the beer company I worked at one of the bulk trucks had used chicken bones all stuffed under the passenger seat complete with BBQ sauce and everything!

Ha, won one for the good guys...
Definately not the norm tho, and never to be expected!!
Most of us that do care for the equipment like that, no one ever notices or gives a crap...We end up cleaning for US, so we can stand it, not because were part of a equally working team...
If I was a fleet owner, it would be a pet peeve of mine,,,Actuall truck inspections, you get docked for a trashed truck ($150), you get rewarded for clean truck..
Were Im at now, they issued the new trucks to the guys who take of them the best...Pretty coolMike2633 Thanks this. -
Well today I got a phone call, the truck I thought I was going to get I am not going to get they issued it to a new guy. Instead they issued my cornbinder to another new guy and told me that I would now be sharing a transit truck. So instead of getting a 2007 Volvo I now get to drive a 2015 Volvo. They said because I don't smoke and keep a clean truck it was only logical that I shared a truck with a man who also doesn't smoke and keeps a clean truck. The driver who I share a truck with now has worked at GFS since I was born I was born in 1988 and he started at GFS in 1988 holly-cow he's been working at GFS as long as I've been a live.
This is the new truck I will be driving:
