Hi Mike, '07 Volvo, '15 Volvo, what's the difference? :biggrin_2559: Just kidding, that's great. Funny thing about truck assignment. I've worked at companies, where you work your tail off keeping an older truck decent, in hopes of getting the "new" truck, only to find, they issue it to a new guy. "What gives", I asked the boss? He told me, "well, you keep that old horse shiny and legal, and a new driver may not do that to an old truck, so we're keeping you in that truck". Kind of backfired on me, and usually quit not long after. So what did they gain? Lost a good driver, and the old truck you drove got trashed. Bosses do the strangest things.:biggrin_25512:

In that case you'd have to wonder who the new guy was related to.

I told the kid who got the 2007 Volvo that I did the rims and everything on it.

No doubt, I don't think the kid who is getting the truck will be shining rims on it that's for sure. Not that he's a bad kid, but I don't see it happening.

I keep a clean truck, but other drivers in my barn ,leave the usual mess that I dutifully pick up and throw out........What I'd like to do is toss the crap in the parking lot....but 2 wrongs don't make it right........3 lefts would.

Mike2633 that's great man! good job! I wish we had assigned trucks at my LTL company. I'd have a nice truck to take care of but its pointless when I never know if I'll get the truck again.

So today I went down to the yard and got my new truck all back up to spec. It's a new truck to our fleet, but it doesn't get much down time and hadn't seen the truck wash at the warehouse in sometime had a ton of road grime all over it and the cab while fairly clean ehh needed some detailing.
So after 6,7-8 hours I finally got it back up to almost like brand new spec.

we have a few of them ,they run 24 -5....when they go in for pm's you can hear the cry's a mile away...but they don't get too dirty. the drivers in them have a sense of pride.

    Mike2633 Thanks this.
