Abandoned truck on DAC. Was rehired at swift, looking to buy a used truck and run it with Swift

in 35 yrs ,never had a company look at my dac.

Forget the Volvo. It is a really bad idea. From the cost of the truck, to the $1.30 per mile.

You need to put that money somewhere safe, and find a company that pays more than a $1.30 a mile.

he wont be able to get a signal in the woods to post.

I have a question...

I’m not going to debate you or call you names or say anything bad about you...in fact, I will just thank your response and bow out of this thread.

From what you’ve seen on this post, if you had a fleet of trucks, would you hire this guy to do a lease at the rate and terms that he’s going to do at Swift?

 

Honestly if all I had to go by was his post I would not hire him at all.
That said I do not care that he abandoned a truck, but the reason would be a deal breaker.
I wish the drive the very best, and hope he has worked out his issues, but I would not put him in a truck with my name on it.

 

He shall not be permitted to drive he has mental issues and he need to be treated. That issue forced him into the woods thus affecting his ability to drive tuck.
