Yes it is 2 years for one week. I do t work for ABF and it kills me seeing mega carriers pulling your freight. My last carrier was famous for that, hence getting NO runs, and sending freight through cartage for the city drivers so they stay home.

Glad my job now doesn't do that. Also nice having a start time everyday, no call in or extra board

It actually is your 2nd year.....for example I started in the beginning of June and on April 1st(when everyone's vacation time resets). I got one week of vacation time. So it's not horrible

It's 2 years in get 1 week vacation. I've traveled plenty of places growing up with 2 parents retired from USAir. Getting my 2 years in to receive 1 week vacation isn't a big deal. Easy to say Not married, No kids.
Having a hobby outside of trucking makes time fly. Couldn't tell you what motor specs is in a big rig or a favorite manufacture of trailers, It's a job not a lifestyle.

September is 8 years trucking. Never called off or slept in.When it becomes not fun, I enter a new side of trucking. 14 companies in 8 years. NO REGRETS. Always upgrade.

    Boo hoo 1 week vacation.
