What if you want to make more money ???

ABF. That's UPS is truckload. That's like Conway Truckload. Pay is way lower. Any other company Linehaul job pays better then ups truckload
Mike2633, already gone and Shaggy Thank this. -
ABF is better..Like radman said ups truckload is a lot lower. I worked for ups truckload a few years back.
-
No money in otr bro.
i wouldn't take a pay cut to be out there 4 days lol.
-
ABF. no questions asked.
Most guys never leave that job -
ABF is far better choice. Read the fine print. Each terminal has different operations. Working the dock doesn't sound fun after Several Hours of Driving and Driving Several back. Sure it's well payed. No thanks. 100% Being home every night is priceless. Not 90% not 99.9%
It's Not OTR in the traditional sense. Get that out of your Vocabulary OP.Last edited: Apr 3, 2015

If your looking for the best LTL job out there then go with the ABF Road Driver job. That UPS Truck Driver CDL-A OTR gig is no good. If your serious about UPS look at the Road Driver positions posted in UPS Frieght. Those are our LTL jobs and yes they pay well but I would choose ABF overall.already gone and PALOU Thank this. -
Anything with truckload at the end of it means pay like crap, sleep in truck. If you go into any UPS interview and its non Union, it's not the real deal and walk out. UPSF guys top at .72cpm while non Union truckload ups maybe somewhere in .40cpm. Not saying the UPS TL is a bad job cause you might like OTR and they might treat you better and it's easier then the megas but money wise I couldn't do it. I got to be compensated to be OTR.
PALOU Thanks this.
