    Just my two cents if you have a company in mind that you really want to work for like Magnum I encourage you to do whatever it takes to give that company a try otherwise you will have that in the back of your mind if things don't go well at another company, just sayin

    Thats what the recruiter told me. She won't be available until mid july coz she will have another student that will go on training with her this June 20th.

    Maverick TCD has a reputation for low miles. Go with Magnum or Abilene.

    Is it really low miles for TCD? What about the Britton? Never heard of it but seems to be a decent company.

    Don't know anything about Britton.
    If you check Maverick TCD freight lanes you'll see why the miles are low. It's somewhere on the website; I've looked at it in the past.
    You have a sure bet with Abilene or Magnum as far as good companies and good paychecks, plus good coast to coast long runs.

    You think its worth a shot if I will just go ahead and do my DOT and drug test to Abilene so they can bus me out for orientation? Magnum only got 1 trainer for female and she won't be available not til almost end of July which I really don't wanna just sit and wait.. Also do they have any agility test even if I'l be pulling dryvan or reefer at Abilene?

    Britton looks real good as far as the website goes. Do they hire new cdl grads; it's not on the website.
    Benefits package looks good and trucks have apu's.

    One person said yeah they do. I might have to place an application to them. Also Total Trans? In MS is that a good company? They hire new cdl grad.

    It will get you on the road more quickly. Give it a shot; it's not a lifetime commitment anyway.
    Here's some Abilene drivers that will give you a straight answer: @JohnBoy @MidWest_MacDaddy
    @RebelChick

    Cool. Thanks for the advice Chinatown. I have choice to go other company aside from those on the list and get 6 months but I just don't like jumping back and forth it would affect my work history and future employment. Thats why I would like to start out to a decent company and stick to it :)
