Old timer truckers are the best. Senior driver in front of me. Goes to check in, lady says come back at 2130. This is for a 2200 appointment. Dude is old. Using a cane to walk, so he just sits down at the table and waits. 10 mins later, same woman, still not 2130 says "give me your paperwork and I'll check you in" I'm guessing she only did this cause she seen his condition. Old dude looks up at her and says " come back at 2130". Lol. I bout busted out laughing. It was funny, but I bet he'll be here at this receiver all night now.

Ok boys and girls... I really need your help in dealing with this issue... And this happened while I am OTR too... so my ability to respond is severely hampered ... Please Advise...
From my wife today;
"That’s all I needed!!!! ...I just got back home to find four Police Officers in our house looking for something, acting like lunatics!!!!! Even searching through my underwear drawers which was rather embarrassing!!! They checked inside our bed mattress, even tearing it apart!!
When I asked if they had a search warrant, they answered completely hysterically: "Where did you hide it?? We know it's here somewhere!!"
Then I watched one of the Police officers look at his mobile phone and then he shouted: " Stop it! We are in the wrong house!!!!
The Pokémon is next door!!!!"
I tell you...
I just don't know what to do about her.Finfn1372, WotansVolkman, KD5AXG and 2 others Thank this. -

I hear tell that's negotiable...
I have helped a few dock workers but I get the feeling I was being more used than helpful.
At one broker load I told them we are no touch when I was informed that I would be helping load the trailer and so I called in to be advised... Before I could get an answer about pay, etc, she came out to tell me they needed an answer, since I didn't get one in time, as they were closing, I left the yard.
Ended up on a different load heading south.
The funny part is they had BIG signs everywhere as to all the personal safety stuff needed... Of which I carry none... So the loaned me a hard hat, safety glasses, and a vest. (Which does happen at several locations)
But I guess the fact that I was in shorts (req long pants), tee shirt (req long sleeve), and no safety toe shoes didn't bother them one bit and their "safety posters".... LOL
But thank Heavens he has that yellow vest to wear inside the trailer... LOL4mer trucker and 5speed Thank this.
