If so, Thank You for proving my point... :)

It doesn't, or didn't, read that way and the info then flowed down through the grapevine... :)

Yes, it's good to have options and flexibility.

That note in wytheville about Walmart is specifically for that Walmart. About 2 years ago the local LEO got a hair up their keester and started ticketing/towing trucks from the shopping center. Thus the reason you will never find me at that Walmart.

I had a Miami to PA broker load. Loaded Friday deliver on Monday and they called me at least twice a day. Always the same questions...whats my location...will I make delivery on time...what temp is my reefer set to.

Also dispatch told me they would not give Abilene the load info until I called the broker and they spoke to me personally. Where am I, when can I reach shipper, what kind of trailer do I have, how many load locks etc.

Murder suspects are probably interrogated less.

Schneider broker loads require the phone app tracker. If you refuse then they keep calling you.

Yea I had to. Shipper wanted a certain pickup number. Abilene sent 3 along with the load but none were it, but on my fourth try I got it.

Really? I've not ever been able to get the guy at Schneider to answer the phone so I just run it and send my information like normal to Abilene. Couldn't even tell you what the guy's name is since it sounds like he has a bunch of crap in his mouth while he's talking in his message.

They started that because Walmart, Lowes and even the Food Lion right there looked like a truck stop at night, and even more so the next morning. Garbage everywhere, signs and landscape run over, etc. A shame they went totally nuts on no parking enforcement but drivers have no one to blame but themselves...

The note about parking at Walmart in the Wytheville office is a recommendation. Just like a recommendation on a speed sign on a curve. But, Wytheville walmart specifically will ticket you. A jackhole changed their oil there and let it all drain in the parking lot (manager told me, because I asked). I shop at this location regularly because I can drive my car there from the yard. I think parking at Walmart is ok, just have to use common sense about it.
