Anyone from the thread drive 1531? It's parked here at the Villa La Quinta.

For the record I didn't hit anything. I used my 6th sense to "feel" where the back of the trailer was.

I quite like 301. Even if it doesn't save you any time it will at least save your sanity.

I think you were lucky on 95 otherwise. ;)

Was it one of those trailers with the bar you have to move?. Sounds like it, springy pins that push in but wont stay in.

    KD5AXG Thanks this.

He said signature and date only, didn't want anything else written on it. His tone of voice suggested he has had many other drivers attempting to write stuff.

I could have my name changed to Steven Le Clare though and claim they are my initials. ;)

Well, the DOT said I can drive for another two years... And had the cutest nurse too... All smiles and laughs with just a hint of flirt!!!

And she wonders why my BP was elevated... :)

Can I go back again tomorrow??? ;-)

That what I thought too but after reading the stickers the bar was disconnected or something. That's when I gave up.

So, ok, the "rest of the story"...

I took it to the shop and wrote it up... Saying I am not sure if it's broken or I just need more training... Young guy came out with the spray lube and I explained... He crawls under the trailer and then discovers the bar that moves the pins in and out was bent... Up inside under the trailer... What the heck could have gotten way up there and bent it who knows.

Curious just how long it's been that way.

    Red Tagged and Parked It!!!
