Not much to pick up over there on a Friday. Maybe givens to the yard. Just go up 460. Slower speed limits and small towns but less headache.

 

I've wondered that myself.

 

Made it to my 2nd drop. Trick to find. As it was still a slab with like 10 tilt-wall panels up. No place for sensitive electrical equipment. Did get a very nice chat with the electrical foreman about how the trade has changed since I "retired". Project manager had to arrange a off site secondary storage location for this stuff. 40 miles away. Called in..nothing. Sent QC message...nothing. Called my back up, she was off. So....

With info in hand, I moved to a trusted off site location. Unloaded and moved to a truck stop 3 miles away to run out of my 14. This lack of support off hours and when my back up is off is ridiculous. But...

My back up will be in in the morning, so I should be able to get another run to get us to offer time for our appointmentsite.

Didn't get to play at Dantzler today. Arrived, no one there to sign my bills and doors 5-12 were full. So I contacted the night dispatch. Advised to drop on our yard. So now, I've dropped, currently waiting on my Chinese, talk to Chatdaddy, shower, then it's a night. Be safe all

I got a dh move to hp ruffin and I did just that. I was driving through saw that richard petty stock car and thought "hey ive been here before" it was that world market load a few weeks ago.

 

I probably walked by you all at some point tonight. Washing the truck wore me out so I am tucked up for the night.

Im stopping by for bbq next time!. You are not far from the yard at all. I couldn't live so close by, I would be wanting to go home every week.

 

So 5 hours after putting truck in the shop it is fixed. With a couple of modifications. First, 5th wheel grease all over my carpet. Scrubbed all that out. Second, cup holder in the bunk by controls is now broken. Really, WTF is the guy thinking? Tommy is the one who worked on my truck this time. It's fracking horse hockey. I know this truck belongs to Abilene, but it's my home, ya know? I'm a neat freak and it just twists my you-know-what when someone disrespects my stuff. Thank goodness I had the forethought to move all my stuff around or else it probably would've been all over the place. That is another reason I do not park at the yard. Don't like knowing someone can go into my truck anytime they want. Not that I have anything to hide, I just feel it's an invasion of what little bit of privacy we do have with the dang cameras and all. Ok, rant over. Time for bed cause I've got 2 full days ahead.
