Hey Abilene peeps, what do you think the chances of a student driver in middle TN getting on in a couple months?

Ok I will reach out to them on Wednesday. How is your hometime set up in Florida and miles weekly? Also is there a contract that you must sign to sign on to them for the refresher program?

Pretty good, I'd guess. No harm in applying now. Sooner the better. Then, call a recruiter as you get closer to graduation.

Have you ever driven a truck before?

Never drove for pay. I had a grandpa who drove for years and he'd let me out in his. School would be what I consider as my first time.

OTR gets 1 day off for every 6 worked. Most OTR take home time every 2-3 weeks ... JB is from South Florida and they get him home every two weeks or so. But there are times we must all be a bit flexible with home times... But they honestly do try to get you home most of the time... And if it's a serious issue they really shine in making it happen.

    No contracts here

Yeah, after giving me this Reno load I told them it would better serve my hours to finish my 10 and then bobtail to WM yard and grab this box. They agreed. Just hooked it and going to wait an hour before rolling out. Be in Reno on 8/10 at 7am with a nice recap to run. ;)

    Be safe everyone. :)

KD5AXG and 4mer trucker Thank this.
