Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

I do watch the NBA when I have time. But that's about it. I just raised my Data plan from 10gb to 15gb because I was going over every month. Slingbox won't make me use less data but more.

 

Sitting by the phone and nothing. As soon as I go in to take a shower then the phone rings off the hook. I get done and see 2 missed calls from dispatch and 5 missed calls from the broker in Illinois. After calling dispatch first, I'm told there was a change of plans. Now I'm waiting some more for another glorious plan. I can hardly wait for the next phone call.

 

I think it's more on the line of piss poor planning, I mean is it really a surprise I'm in south Florida? I mean I've only been here at the house a week now.

 

Believe me, I do have an issue with it. The thing that makes it somewhat bearable is the fact that in the 9 months here I haven't layed over once. Thank god I'm home, at least I can take care of things around the house. The one thing they need to work on is dispatch. I heard when I first got here that it was an issue they were addressing, that was 9 months ago. Like it's been said over the years, Rome wasn't built in a day. And I guess this dispatch issue is following along the same route as Rome.

 

If I load tomorrow, the earliest I would be in richmond would be Wednesday morning. Don't go to the terminal until you hear from me. I'm going to the DMV at 7am, hopefully I'll be done by 9am. And on my way north.
