Sent QC's to dispatch and a breakdown macro. Spoke with Volvo break down and they say they're sending someone out to me. Hope they hurry. If I keep starting it I can keep the temp around 43 to 49 (should be 34) so I'll be babysitting it until fixed. So still no shower or sleep I guess.

First thing the Volvo guy says to me? Did you already call about this? Sounds familiar. He dug in and THAT"S why the driver left the EMPTY box at Walmart. To be fixed NOT loaded. Gotta love the communication these days ... eh?

All this for a CA sunrise and ocean view? You can KEEP IT! LOL

Well, it started off nice... lol

 

@MidWest_MacDaddy last time I was up that way they sent me to Bostson Logistics in Youngstown d&h,going back to everybodys favorite hp building in Chester.

Well for me today took 3 1/2 hrs to go from the 495 to Ashland.Was than sent to hp in Chester to pu,do pretrip 3 bad tires 1 flat with a bent rim smh,i'm ready for hometime .

 

Well that tears it. Wound up having to take the trailer to Ins and Outs right near this flying j. Only to greeted by a mechanic and his 12 year son. The son is the interpreter. So I sit outside with the trailer in the shop. Still no sleep after 28 hours and no shower. Already QC'd dispatch and told them no way I can make 2160 in 2 days now. Assuming the refer even gets fixed and the load isn't ruined by then. Good grief. A lot of balls dropped on this one.

 

Well refer is running. Back to the hook for me. Hope there's still a spot to park.

Well, guess I am on the Gatorade loop myself for a bit longer... Blue Ridge to Winterville to Columbus to Blue Ridge.... On lap #2, or #3?

Oh well... It's an easy drive for a Sunday afternoon.

 

Man, I wish we could use Love's more often. I like it so much better than Pilot.
