You can use loves all you want to. Why do you think you can't?

I was told we can't fuel at Loves. A fleet wide message was sent out last year or the year before. I was sent a message this year about not fueling at Loves also.

I was told in orientation that Love's didn't give Abilene fuel discounts like PJ does, and only to use Love's if there isn't a PJ around. Flying J is okay, but I prefer Love's. The wife prefers Pilot coffee.

No. I was told earlier this year by Kolon, in the drivers lounge full of drivers, that we can fuel at loves. I have fueled there exclusively for 3.5 years, except for about 6 months when we got a qc message not to. But, I figure it this way, if one of the owners tells me I can, I can and will. He has told this to others as well, including Stacey when she was having this same discussion with a driver and Kolon just happened to be walking by. I get that loves doesn't give as big a discount as PFJ, but we can use them. If not, I would've been contacted about my exclusive use of loves, as would several other drivers I know.

Has Love's done anything to improve their showers? They were always crap in my opinion.

Depends on location, but I respect Love's because they are still standing alone when Pilot and TA bought rivals to stay in business. In my honest opinion, my preferred stops are Flying J, Love's, and Petro.

The worst thing that happened to Flying J was Pilot, and the worst thing that happened to Petro was TA. TA has gone downhill bad. At least Pilot is trying to reinvent themselves. I do top off at Love's when I can to try to keep a shower credit current. But, I forget.

And I sure wish I knew something of these people. Kolon? Who is that?

    I'm such a mushroom.

But, I can't stand to 'hang out' at Richmond. I just hide in my truck when I'm there. Only emerge for Chinese food or restroom needs.

I was told that TA/Petro required a call in for approval to fuel. Then, it would only be enough to get to an approved fuel stop.

I may be putting my job on the line here,

    But.....

    HEY, Abilene management. C.O.M.M.U.N.I.C.A.T.I.O.N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Finfn1372 Thanks this.
