Riding in a brand new Freightliner COE, fell asleep in the passenger seat and later woke up with a wet arm and head, looked over and my brother was chuckling away! I guess they are still working on it!Dinomite, 48Packard, Weeble Kneeble and 2 others Thank this. -
Crap! Why does it have to snow everywhere I go?????? In OH, snow. In WV, snow. In KY, snow. In MI, snow. In PA, snow. Now headed back to Va...wait for it...snow. My poor truck is almost all white right now. But, at least I'm not up in International Falls MN like another of our drivers. It's -28 without the wind chill there and about 2 feet of snow or more.

Right now I'm in Kinzers PA waiting on more hours. Yup, ran completely out of my 70 today. Luckily, I pick up 10.5 tonight. Got a DH move to pick up an mty at Amazon in Middletown DE and head to the yard for tomorrow. Wonder what crazy place I will get sent to once I get there. When I told my buddy that this was my first real winter out, he said I am the cause of all the snow. Sorry y'all. LOL

Busy day yesterday. We made it over Elk Mtn in a ground blizzard. It wasn't too bad, except for the fact it was night time and we only had 10k in the wagon. I have to give George credit, the dude can sleep through anything, if it was me my backside would have been glued to the seat. Not him , sound asleep without a care in the world.
We got to Twin Falls at 7:30 and had to wait until this installation crew went and got a forklift on the other side of town to unload my one cooler. I sent a message into dispatch telling Tim that since Friday I knew about this delivery, dispatch knew about it, HP knew about and the installation company knew about it, but the onsight foreman had no idea about it, of course it then becomes my problem now. Finally an hour and a half later they show up with a forklift and get their cooler off my trailer. We then ran down to SLC and kicked of the next two drops. I developed an air leak in one of my brake chambers and called the freightlliner dealer to see if they could get me in to get it fixed, they said sure to come on in. Right. I get there and the dude tells me they won't be able to get me in until sometime tomorrow. I about hit the roof. I called into breakdown, they called the TA in Tooele 10 miles away and got it set up under warranty to be fixed, I got there at 3, had a new brake chamber installed and was pulling out the shop bay at 4:30. Done.
I got dispatched to swap trailers with another driver who was running out of hours with a load going to Tracy Ca. She met me at the TA at 6:30 local time, the load delivers at 2pm today. George went to bed at 4:30 yesterday afternoon and I didn't see him again until 6am this morning in Wells Nevada when I woke him up to tell him we are going to take a shower. He's driving until we get to Fernly Nv for fuel. I'll take it over Donner and into Tracy. Right now I'm lying down getting ready to get a little more sleep.Lonesome Thanks this. -
