Got a load from the yard to just south of gun free Chicago.

Just stopped at a no name park, choke and puke. Super thankful for this place. Exit 161 off of I 64. If there was no room here, I'd have to park on the entrance ramp. Hate doing that.

Tight delivery schedule for this one. Big window for delivery, but will run tight on my 11. No room for error. God's will be done.

Best thing that came out of LA is I-10 east.

You just need a good deadhead over CA's washboard highways with the never ending break checks during LA rush hour like I just did. 3 hours to go 68 miles playing highway pinball.

It'll make that country road you got there far more appreciated. :D

Saftey will have a new vid to watch. Bit of a hard break while skipping over washboards set it off .... lol

I never take these rural runs for granted. I enjoy each mile. I had to do LA twice during "training". I feel ur pain. I'd still rather do Cali than I-95.

Yeah there's 2 distinct LA's. Rush hour (actually 4 hours) and not. Planned my trip in to hit after morning rush hour. Sailed right through the heart. Couldn't do much about coming back out though.

They DH'd me to the Colton yard where I dropped that reefer. At the little truck stop up the street BT. Gonna get some shut eye. Have this funny feeling the next run is gonna come quickly.

G'night man ... and all. YAWN

Take it one step at a time, one day at a time. This journey will take place and work out just fine. You have questions, just ask. There's a ton of information here that will cost you nothing. Glad you're here, there's a lot of people here that will help.

Does Abilene go to Cali a lot? I've never done the West really as a trucker; just Texas and everything East of the Mississippi including Canada.

I just hear LA sucks, but I've never been there.
