At the shop...AGAIN! Argh! Same issue with the inverter and outlets not working. But, I called a Volvo dealership I trust, told them what was happening and asked a lot of questions. The issue: when I plug the truck in (shore power), it would trip my outside outlet and my gcfi (think that's the abbreviation) plug in my bathroom at home. After going thru several things to do with me on the phone (Wow, do folks still do that!?), it was thought that maybe my extension cord wasn't up to par. So, went to Lowes and bought a heavy duty one. Now, not too sure it charged like it should, but it did not trip my outlets in the house, so that's an improvement. Yanked it out this morning before I thought about looking at the readout screen since I needed to leave home early to get back to yard to get fixed. Silly, half asleep me!

I am glad to be back out this time. (Did I just say that? Geez, someone examine my head!) I had such a busy 2 days that I'm not sure I even was off. Had to take my mother for a second opinion regarding her foot. This Dr seems to think maybe he could get by with a lesser surgery if it's even possible to do one. Of course we had to go for extensive X-rays after the visit and I'm waiting for a vein Dr to call and set up an appointment for vein imaging. Might be there are some blocked veins causing some of the massive swelling in her legs and right foot.

After the Dr and X-rays, I had 6 more stops to make yesterday for her, and then of course, the grocery store for her the day before. So, yeah, I'm a bit worn out and maybe a little cranky, too.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust this co pilot thingy much. It was all kinds of confused on my run to Carson. Thank God (or JB) for maps .. eh?
