Legnth of the cord can make a difference, too. 183' is the rule of thumb for voltage drop. Without getting into deep theory, as long as you keep your cord no longer than 150', a 12 Guage cord will do the trick. 200' will increase a cord size to 10 Guage, and now it gets expensive. Feel free to ask any electrical questions.Friend, JohnBoy, RebelChick and 2 others Thank this. -

Welp, another wasted day in LA thanks to Walmart and their nonsense rules. Seems I may never get out of here. Might write about later on the laptop. Right now I'm having a meal at the Three sisters truck stop. Had the truck washed. My dime of course but I hate a dirty truck and I draw the line when I get dirty climbing in & out of it. Lol
4mer trucker, JohnBoy and KD5AXG Thank this. -

Delivered in Illinois, just south of Chicago. At a Petro doing laundry.
I called in earlier to see about my next run, but will have to call in again in the morning. So, sitting on an empty refer. Guess that means I'll be getting the no refer Gatorade run? I sure hope not.I'm not good enough to run overloaded. -
