Went to a BH supplier. Had no clue what I was picking up. The run info gave no info other than an address and appt time. I have, as of yet, not gotten any training on the refers. Other than what I have read from the driver book. If one had an issue, I'd be lost on what to do. This is my first experience with refers. I don't mind them, really. Just learning BH's quirks.

Taking a 30, but already called in for the next run.

No information other than addresses and appt times. I *might* remember for next time, but one would think something like that would be on a refer load. I have not hauled that many refers, and this was my first refrigerated live load. Having that info would have saved me an hour plus thanks to the traffic I hit including 2 trains in 5 miles (lol). I'm fully aware of Chicago traffic, as I have been through Chicago before.

Water under the bridge, I guess.

So I hit my delivery in El Paso at 1:15, put me right in a dock and I barely set the breaks by the time the forklift drove in the box. Total time unloadint about 20 minutes. Place is HUGE for an easy dock and the folks there very nice and no BS.

Yep, I'm definetly NOT in LA anymore. LOL

Big Flying J 5 miles away and I'm having lunch and my 30 while dipatch does their thing. With any luck there will be one on the box when I get back to the truck.

Got hours, need to run! :)

I'm still waiting for a run. My 14 is ticking down. Driver support for us nobodies is getting worse and worse.

    Lonesome Thanks this.
