I'll wait on the sunshine, but, that whiskey sounds REALLY good right now.

Oh I'm fine with reality RC. The reality is, they sent me into an area that's largely if not exclusively setup for team freight. Hence the broker load (finally) from SFS to El Paso to get me in a better solo area. I also don't mind the shuffle or doing anything else that helps the company or other drivers. I can even deal with sitting (occasionally) but all the failed loads, missing loaded trailers, trailers that were supposed to be loaded and were not but even had the paperwork saying they were, Well, that's a LOT of balls being dropped IMHO.

I'm relaxed, but the truth is the past 4 days has cost me more than I made. Even THAT doesn't bother me "too" much. But just flat out being ignored all day several times? That I won't tolerate. Where are those FM's "stepping in" you mention to reply to me? LOL

I just delivered in Carson. You'll love it .... trust me ... :biggrin_2556: .... LOL

As far as being late? I really don't take that place as worrying too much about "time tables". (You'll see what I mean when you get there ... hehe) Either call them and explain the I 15 situation or have dispatch do it. None of us have any control over that. Loads are late everyday due to such things. I also suspect they already know all about it as from what I saw, most of what goes in and out of there relies on I 15. ;)

I know, right! True story...I've never seen my son drink, but I know he does (He's 28 tomorrow.). At his cousins wedding a couple weeks ago, I go up to the bar to get beers for me and his dad. Asked him what he wanted figuring a soda or tea since the ball (dad) and chain (mom) are around. Yeah, nope. I'll have a double shot of jack, please. Then he proceeds to just kill it in one swallow like its nothing. Love that kid!

No problem. I'll go to the load boards and find my own loads to keep moving. Do you think they'll mind? LOL

Yup... Buddy, you are a negative nilly.

Run it as hard as you can to get it as far as you can... Maybe that's all they need you to do and are already planning on swapping you out with someone else to actually drop the load the last three hours or so. (I hear @chralb is available)

We don't know what the plan is and maybe everyone knows you can't legally get it there but we all need to "push the load closer" to the drop.

And who knows, my calculations have been off before, especially on such a long run as that.

Maybe you pick up a few hours along the way.

Have you accounted for the three hours you gain heading west? Maybe you have just enough time to get it there.

Even so, dude, you get a solid three day long run west ... and yet you are still complaining.

Life is different once you get off John's truck...

Get through the week and things will run smoother once your regular FM is back.

Sitting on a nice piece of real estate in Utah. Hit a pretty nice delay. Great scenery though!
