I just came down I-44 from Joplin to OKC. I just blew through all of them. I was told in orientation that we could pay out of pocket then get reimbursed, or just take the pass lanes and the authority will bill Abilene. So, I blow through them all.
Made it to the Big Love's at exit 101 off I-40. Got a slow start due to construction zones and then just bad drivers.
Kansas City was fun. Trucks literally inches apart because the other driver was impatient as I was doing the construction zone speed limit. He tried to pass me on the left, but got spooked of the orange cones on the left of his lane. So, he encroached into my lane. These lanes were 9' wide. He had me TOO close to the concrete wall, but I gave him as much room as I could. There was far too much traffic to do anything out of the norm. At one point, I saw his trailer so close to mine, nobody could have walked sideways between us. And, at some point, I think when I gathered enough momentum, I outran him. And, apparently, we bumped mirrors. He stayed in both lanes as not to hit those bloody cones. I'm extremely thankful that I don't panic in such situations. And, I only had to push my mirror back into place. No marks at all.
No pain meds SUCKS.
Good night, all.

My turn to fuss. I'll keep it simple. If you drop a trailer with damage that the next driver has to get fixed before he or she can leave, then take your unprofessional self and jump off a bridge. I/We don't get paid to sit at the shop fixing your s***.
All done -

It's just everyone claims to be professional and I never do that blah, blah...it's bs. Dude dropped a trl I had been waiting on for 2hrs with a flat, missing mud flap, bent arm hanger that holds the mud flap and less than 1/8 tank of reefer fuel. So 2 hours later it's all fixed thanks to me. I did get his truck number. I would complain but it'd go nowhere. But I think we all could agree, we do enough free labor as it is. He could of at least told me, or written it up but nope, just drop, park, then gone. Maybe it's best he left with the way I was feeling.

Yeah, I do my darnedest to have things like that fixed. I don't want the ticket. And, I never leave a refer below 3/4 of a tank
