Nope. Quick loading and nice folk.

Did a pick up there once as well. The guy in the warehouse was super cool and getting ready to retire-as in the day after I was there. Right around the corner (sort of) from where MD is picking up.

Now you have my attention... I might have to arrive a tad late and have to wait around for my ten to come around... Might as well see the nearby sights ... Right?

I wonder how long I will have to stall to get into the first tour of the day. ;-)

705 miles today. Finally. Tucumcari to Eastern Little Rock. Legal, even.

Funny what happens when I get let loose.

Interesting thought today, though. We get 11 driving hours a day. With the ignorant way our QC's are programmed, we get cheated an average of 2 min per stop. Stay with me here. I'll be interested in MD's retort.

I tend to stop 3 to 4 times a day, due to the meds I'm on. That includes the 30 min break. If each stop costs us 2 min of lost driving time, that calculates to 6 to 10 min of lost driving time a day. So, we should have a 11hr and 10 min clock each day legally.

I gambled on that today. I came out with 8 min to spare with some fancy off duty manipulation. 700 miles a day, takes an average of 63.6 mph. That should be SUPER easy to do for all our trucks. Unless you have to drive in the eastern time zone.

So, I will start pushing for 700 a day on all day driving days when not in ETZ. I don't care if I have to go over my 11 by a few minutes or not.

    Just my 2 cents. MD?

Got my coolers off last night, my two Honda SUV's this morning behind a Walmart in San Diego after calling a tow company and spending $250 of the companies money. Now we are sitting in Santa Nella, 78 miles to my fourth and final drop in the morning.

Ray is doing just fine. We both were able to get rolling resets in. His is up at 5am. There was a big issue yesterday at the Love's in Phoenix. We were called by the company to be the eyes for them back in Richmond. When it was all over, and the Police gave me the OK, we had to take one truck and load along with my truck and load and bring it to our Colton drop yard. Another team took the other truck and load to Colton. Two trucks, two trailers, and two of our customers loads were recovered. The two drivers were put out in the parking lot as per the company and the Tolleson PD. You know who I felt bad for? Ray, my trainee. He had all of 945 miles driving with me in the truck, then he had to drive one by himself to Colton. Needless to say, he did great, mission was accomplished and we both slept good last night.

Wow. That's crazy. Two drivers down? Wish I could ask for nonidentifying details. Enquiring minds want to know. Glad it worked out for you and Ray.

Well i seem to be the guy everyone has their "final straw" gripe with a shipper. Made it from jfk to sandston only to find out that there were two different area warehouses that had stuff on my trailer. And not in order. Dhl only had a "packing list" so back and forth i went between the warehouses. Turned into an os&d since i dont think they removed the items they didnt put on truck. Got it all straight and got jo to add extra stop. There went a good chunk of my ten

Last night went to a local hummas maker and shipping tried to tell me my trailer was at our yard...not sitting in view of the entry exit door to shipping where it was. Got that straight and discovered 5th wheel was out of alignment because it wouldnt latch. Called shop and they came out and fixed it.

After that two hours ran to halls in jersey. Now waiting on ten to be up at 1300 and someone to bring me a load due in sandston at 1800 and 2000.

So where is the teleport button on this mack???
