Came back today, only to be sitting at the dealer in Roanoke. I had a "fitting" cause a problem with my transmission. Hopefully it will not take long. JB, I'm still thinking of that training thing, I just keep going back n forth with it. One day it's yes, next day it's no.
Good job Ray. I bet you was so happy to get away from JB, even if it was only a lil bit. Hahaha. Stay safeJohnBoy Thanks this. -

So heres an interesting stat for those curious about ne regional. Last pay period i was home 4-5 nights including a reset between 8/1 and early am on 8/12. I had 12 trips and moves on this check totaling 3941 paid miles, of which 2343 were ne bonus miles. I also had 2 nyc payouts. This check did not include my move back from allentown but i counted it in my math below because it was a fluke it wasnt on there.
With that. Total milage 4249 amd ne bonus total 2518.
If i did my math right (and i like to think i did) the bonuses "saved" me 977 miles. So i see it as i got a reset at home and didnt lose any real money.
I ran 4249 but would have had to run 5226 to make same.
I ran va, nj,ny, and pa. I know it aint for everyone but i think i made the right choice for me and my family.Friend, MidWest_MacDaddy, Redtwin and 2 others Thank this. -

But that's on a Volvo...
Not sure about the Mack.

Boy, Ray is getting a first hand look at how a screwup happenes and the issues involved taking care of said screwup. We had 4 drops on this load, 3350 total miles. Got to our last drop at 7am, and by 7:15 found out the $160k electronic unit was mislabeled at the shipper, loaded accordingly in my trailer(wrong), now find out we just got 1450 miles added to this load, we now have to drive to Phoenix, give that customer this product, pick up the product that we dropped Monday, and take it back to Milpitas. So, our 3350 mile trip winds up being 4800 miles and a total of 7 drops. That's cool, I have always wanted to run around California and Arizona.
MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
