Well, I had a great day... Actually every day this week has been good. Rolled out about 11:30am from Groveport heading to NJ... Sitting in their parking lot now. Drop appointment was at 6am but their office doesn't open until 8am... So I will get a full 10 in without the need to bump a dock in my sleep.

A rather nice 500+ mile day.

LONG day for me. Started around 5am. Woke up a bit early as I was a bit nervous about the driving test.

Bill took me and another guy. Bill said I did great! Went to HP and came back. (Bill mentioned over 200 loads from them next week alone.). So not even 30 minutes when I got back, I leave with a trainer. Heading to Riverside, CA. Drove from the yard to just east of Knoxville. Now let's see if I can sleep in this moving truck, lol.

I never thought of it from that angle. Of course it makes sense that the actual store is not the "customer" if it was an installation or remodelling company that ordered the cooler.

Very hard time trying to sleep in a moving truck. Hopefully my body adjusts to all the bouncing around, lol.

 

That was my biggest issue, sleeping in a moving truck. I don't. But, after a couplentitled of nights, I succumbed to exhaustion.

Luckily, I wasn't out long before I soloed out.

@ChrisL- Congrats! Sleep you will when exhausted you are! Try benedryl or Tylenol PM (just one!). It works most of the time.

Update...turns out I could have come in here last night at 9 pm and gotten loaded. The night shift guy was still here when I checked in and told me he would've gotten me loaded and I could've taken my break right here. Now why didn't the day shift guy tell me this? I would most certainly have done so. Geez! Now I have to wait no telling how long. But, Sysco is a major customer of theirs, so fingers crossed.

 

I found that I had a hard time falling asleep in a moving truck, but once I fell asleep I usually stayed asleep unless my trainer actually stopped the truck for some reason. So I actually slept pretty good aside from the very first night.
