Well, after 24 hours at the house, I rolled out this evening for a four hour drive to my Monday morning drop... Sitting at a Speedway (former WilcoHess) about a mile from my drop...

Good and easy start for the week.

    Stay Safe!!!

I make sure to do the acceptance when I know the load can't be delivered on time that way it is logged as such when i put "n" in the little box and enter a reason.

I meant it's not worth getting into an argument with a complete stranger. You never know who is packing and is ready to snap.

One that displays all your QC load info and messages would be great too. No need to sit in the truck for hours waiting on a load. Go for a walk, do some mall crawling or just hang out in the driver's lounge with the truck off not burning fuel idling..*hint hint*.

When cooler weather arrives and the truck won't idle you won't have to switch it on and wait for the 5 minute QC boot up just to check for a load every hour.

The tech is already out there. I have seen youtube video of a knight driver demonstrating it. We just need someone at Abilene to see it's value to the operation.

You can get 3000 miles a week easy doing regional east coast. I am not officially east coast regional they just mostly keep me there and miles are no problem at all staying east.

1 South Florida run will be 1800-2000 miles there and back and that can be done in 3 days. The majority of my loads are in the 500 mile range and those add up quickly too.

If you are above average height Bill will keep you out of a Mack. Luck of the draw after that. A volvo 780 or KW 680 is a safe bet though.

agree!!! And QC offers it as an option.
But, the option must be purchased. :-(
I for one would love be to test it out for them.

Never know... Maybe the powers that be who read our thread will suddenly discover that it would be a great feature to offer to increase communication and suddenly make it available to us... ;-)

No they did not. It is a matter of principle. They talked crap to me for almost taking their door off when I pulled in, which I did not, but when you're not used to being that close to a big truck I guess it seems intimidating. I politely said first of all you shouldn't be over here and second of all you should've shut your door while standing behind your pickup eating a sandwich. I was told to shove it where the sun don't shine. Then I got pissed and went into total witch mode. That's when the officer came out of the bldg and let everyone know the rules. If a semi parks on the car side it runs the risk of being ticketed. Same with a car on the truck side. Check your laws. Even the woman inside at the kiosk said they run the cars out of the truck side when they see them and vice versa. I'm usually not so vocal in my irritation with it, but yesterday when they talked crap to me, it wasn't having it. It's kind of like people who park in the handicapped spots who aren't handicapped. Another peeve of mine. And I will call them out on this one in a heartbeat.
