I spoke to our new HR Manager about it a while back since no one here had heard about it yet and she said everyone was to get an email. I was just wondering about it since I had yet to receive one and wanted to know if anyone else received an email from her about it.
Ya, I try to stay off the yard as much as possible so posters are useless to me.

Who do I talk to about requesting a new trainer?
At times, my current trainer acts like its a chore to answer any of my questions. Doesn't explain things like what is happening or why things need to be done a certain way.
We all know how hard it is to sleep in a moving truck. Now add really loud music with rattling bass while trying to sleep. Finally got fed up with it and told him with all due respect if it could be turned down. 2-3 hrs sleep a day isn't cutting it.
Did a trailer swap in Amarilo, TX and now heading back to Riverside, CA. for AM appt today.
Hoping to get close to Richmond to ask about another trainer if things don't improve over next few days. -
I would simply try and co exist until you get back to richmond, just to keep peace down. Only thing worse than being trapped in a truck with someone you don't get along with is getting in a big brawl on the road. Contact your fm in private when you get a chance to do so, tell them the situation, and I'm sure you'll get a new trainer. Last thing they want to do is invest money in your training and leave you with a trainer that isn't going to train you. I tell ya...trainers are given that privilege too easy nowadays. I respect J.B. in the fact that he is a trainer imo. He knows the difficulties of a new person coming into this business and he adjusts accordingly. I wish you the best..dont be afraid to speak up in this profession!! Remember, it's youre training..not his..he doesn't care..he's getting his $$ and that's all he probably cares about.

Also it doesn't necessarily have to take place in Richmond I have seen trainers switched out on the road as well.
