Man!!!!!! I thought that was tomorrow! Now I'm going to have to fix something else for lunch!!! LOL Called yesterday afternoon to get my load for when I come off home time and got a Sabra load delivering Sunday in Deerfield Beach FL. I figure I'll leave around noon tomorrow and roll until I get too tired to drive. Yuck that it's a reefer load, but it'll be okay.
All went well with my mom's cateract surgery. Now she has 20/20 vision in her right eye. She's worn glasses since she was in 5th grade and she's 69 now. It looks funny to see her without glasses. She will be having the other eye done on June 5th, so that's another 3 day "vacation". Although I'm looking forward to getting back to work to get some rest! The list of things that need to be done while I'm home never seems to end!
I did do something for myself this time. Well, more for my son than myself, I guess. His car has been broke down since October. It's an 88 Mazda RX7. The dealer was WAY to expensive to even diagnose the problem and his friend that works on them never would come look at it. So.....I bought a new to me 2007 Mustang and gave my son my 2004 Cavalier. Now just need to get rid of the RX7. Already had a couple of people who love them call. Hopefully, one of them will get it out of my yard soon! Guess my hubby really gets the car, since I'm usually gone, but whatever!!!!![]()

Second pay period since I started here, and not one mistake. Is this how it's suppose to be? I thought the norm was chasing after mistakes for weeks on end. Can we say "sarcasim"?

I'm home. Got here at noon. It's nice to leave the Richmond yard at a certain time knowing you'll be home exactly 24 hours later. I have a drop in Hollywood then Kendall for Monday. I'll have my reset done and leave out Tuesday morning to reload.
Jrdude5 Thanks this. -
Glad to here no pay issues paying on time and correct should be #1 right next to making sure there is never an issue with your fuel card.
JohnBoy Thanks this. -
Left the house at 6:30 this morning. Got both drops off without a hitch and was back home at 10:30. Called into dispatch and was told I would be loading tomorrow. One more night at the house.

JohnBoy, they didn't have much info on their website. Do they have a pet program?

I got a call from dispatch a little while ago. I have to meet a driver up in Kingsland GA at 10pm to switch trailers with him and deliver his load in Sunrise Fl at 8am. The whole trip will be 660 miles, exactly 4.75 hours up, 5.25 back down, 45 minutes to unload then 25 miles back to the house to take my 10 hour break tomorrow. I get to do the all night ride tonight. Lucky me. Seriously though, I am the new guy here, I'm home and have plenty of hours and it gets the company out of a bind and lets me do something that shows operations my ability.

Switched trailers in Kingsland at 10pm last night. The load wasn't going to Sunrise like dispatch said, it was going just outside of Orlando to Eustis. I got here at 1am, was empty at 2 and sound asleep at 2:15. My 10 is up at noon then I have to run up to Gainesville to load going to Fredricksburg Va for tomorrow. I'm glad I decided to take all my food and clothes with me when I left the house yesterday, otherwise I would have been in this Walmart I'm parked at buying new clothes.
