Give it to Scott, Abilene will pay it. The clean air idle stickers are for California, if you look at them on the side of the truck they have the shape of that broke communist state. NY doesn't deal with it.

They don't always allow you to reset, sometimes they tell you the truck needs to keep moving. Clearly, this depends on your DM.

Yeah ... this. But I'm taking it anyway. For safety's sake. Gotta get off this running all night, deliver mornings, wait all day till midnight and repeat cycle. Yesterday I sat for 14 hours waiting on rollover. No more!

Got in the truck with my trainer Wednesday. Grabbed a Hill Phoenix load. 6 coolers, very light. Destination: LA and El Segundo. Roger.

    Westbound and down we go.

Early morning yesterday, in Arkansas, we get a message. We gotta swap with some guy who is driving solo but has a load of Sabra due today at 10am. He's in Oklahoma, so no way he's gonna make that appointment time.

We meet up with him in Sayre and swap trailers. It's @KD5AXG ! Who knew?

Of course, by the time we got the trailer, our ETA was an hour and a half late. And that was if we put on the Depends and drove with no breaks. Since diaper rash is a thing no adult should have to deal with, we opted for taking a few breaks, and rolled in at 1:30pm local.

"You're a little late," said the dude at the guard shack.

"It was already late when we picked it up," I shrugged.

Fortunately they have managed to work us in and we are being unloaded EVEN AS I TYPE. After this, it's off to Wal-Mart for a load of produce and then back across the country to Virginia.

Safe driving and many miles for you all.

    ChrisL Thanks this.

So they finally got me unloaded

and with only 30 minutes left to completing a 10 I am once again rolling north... Might not get all the way to the D/H as I have a head light out so I will hope to fix that before night.

    Later Taters!!!!

Watched a dude almost dump his trailer at the warehouse where we dropped the Sabra. I'm not 100% sure what he did, but it looked like he forgot to raise his landing gear when he rolled out of the dock. Much consternation to be had, though eventually they managed to get his trailer back at a 90 degree angle.
