Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Well, today was to be my first day of vacation but we must be flexible. I took a load past Wytheville to Richmond yesterday and hoped for a load straight back to Wytheville but none...

Ok. No problem. Flexible.

Ended up running a load to Huntington, WV for this morning and was unloaded by noonish.

Then sent in my empty msg and hoped for a ADM to the Wytheville Yard so the wife could pick me up. Nothing. Sent first reminder/request and informed them I was running low on drive time and have just enough to get to the yard... Waited two hours and sent second msg reminding them of vacation and now have time only if the two hour extension is used.

Finally got the go ahead to roll south.

So made it to Wytheville.

I do understand and agree... It doesn't always go as we think it should... To me a simple ADM PrePlan would drop as soon as I was empty and roll.

But, that's not the way it works here.
Maybe someday... But not today.

Take some hand warmers and wrap it around the idle sensor under the hood. Tricks the truck to thinking it's a hot potato. She'll idle all day everyday. Just ask my "Ruby"... but shhhhh don't tell anyone. I only heard someone say that. Captain Obvious maybe hahaha

And plus, you know, he would never be able to finish the vid anyway..the whole time he would be talking he would end up spotting a female across parking lot or guys gf getting out of car, and well..video would never get finished lmao
