Still no trailers loaded and ready. Mine was supposed to be 3pm today. Other folks here been waiting with one in the box since Thursday and they're still here as well. Dispatch was busy pushing delivery times off. Guess they can do mine as well. Been up since 5am and if it comes in now too bad. I'm going to sleep.

    G'night all.

Yeppers. Problem with the float adjustment level. They're all like that.

I normally don't let it get this low. I have, though, in the past let it get to empty a couple of times. It has never dropped this fast before. Made me get out and see if I had a leak.

Now, I'll have to put some fuel in it in the morning so I know I can make it to the Pilot 14 miles up the road. More money out of my pocket.

Then you have a unique one. Every driver of a KW says the same and when I ran with JB it was the same. Me thinks you "look" for problems in life.

But I must ask, why in God's name would you EVER let a truck get to empty?? Or even close??

The money out of pocket will be reimbursed. But in the end, its your doing. Think about it. ;)

I have to agree with chralb on this one. Should never run out of fuel when you go by 100 truck stops. Might need to pre plan a little better??

MidWest_MacDaddy, chralb and KD5AXG Thank this.

I agree to a point that this is my fault. However, I maintain that I have pulled in to a stop with less fuel showing and idled all night with no issues. I won't let that happen again.

I was a trouble shooter for many years as an electrician, so my "looking for problems in life" is probably an excellent way to describe me. Sad as it is. I truly don't like to gripe, but it is 98% of what I post. I have been a problem solver for so long, I get frustrated when I find a problem that I can't fix, or am not allowed to fix. Such as my life.

Just curious, were you by chance a union electrician?

STILL sitting in the yard waiting on my HP load to be ready. If we get past 12:30 that'll be 3 days layover which, I'm afraid, I'll have to insist on getting this time. Quite frustrating and not for just me.

Wow! Guess I'm lucky to have gotten what I did. At least I'm rolling, even though it's not too long of a run.
