@RebelChick and @Redtwin Headed up to Neenah, WI and yup, went right by that Love's and Quik Trip. Thought it was funny you all mentioned it and about an hour later I'm driving past it.

Anyways, After delivering the HP load, I got sent up to Neenah to grab 40,000lbs of foil to bring to a place located in an alley in Mokena, IL.

My DM called right after I sent my "Arrived at receiver" macro and told me to head home after. DOT was just over 2hrs and my drive home is 3hrs.

So yeah, sitting here doing a 10 so I can drive an hour home. Instructed to check the QC Saturday morning for any loads. Four days off is going to be nice with the wife and kids. I haven't been home since orientation.

Do 8hrs in the sleeper and you will get back enough time to reach home 2 hrs earlier. Don't forget your 45mins personal conveyance. Run out your 2hrs then do 45 mins offduty driving tonight and another 45 mins after midnight should get you home even quicker.

Made it home safe and sound. Got some not so good news. MiL isn't doing so good. She is normally hard headed and strong willed. She has back problems. Now, her legs are giving her more grief.

Not sure what is going on. More later.

Now now now, that 45mins off duty driving is only when you're bobtail and not under dispatch.... lmao. I had you going there huh. Technically I think that's right, but I agree. Only an hour from home, I'd rolled the dice.

Got my marching orders. Need to pick up Ray in Fort Myers then be up in Jessup Ga and reload at 5pm. It's been a tiring time off. Our Chocolate Lab was in the hospital for 7 days. We got him home yesterday and my wife has been doing her magic with him.

Going home wouldn't be dispatched. Unless he is hauling the foil home with him, but from his post it seemed like he was heading home after delivering it.

Either way, he should be home by now and have no care whatsoever with what we are saying. ;)
