This KW has the bad fuel lvl sender. We were warned not to let the fuel lvl get below 1/2. I have been burned before, just a couple of weeks ago. Stopped with over 3/8, 20 min later, empty. I have run this thing to empty before, but just lately, it has started acting up. I don't understand why this is, but it is. Over 2 hours waiting for them to fix a "computer glitch".

Am I getting bothersome telling the truth again? If so, I'll go back into seclusion.

Popcorn, I'm sorry for ruining your enjoyment. I didn't realize you knew me so well, ride with me every day and see what happens on this truck. Thank you for your insight on my self made issues. I never realized that I could cause a company to run in such a way. I guess, according to your years of psycological traning, everything will run like it should when I leave.

    Msn, you're good. Thanks again.

I drive a '17 KW. Keep a track of your miles between fill ups. I do 1000-1200 miles solo between fill ups, as a trainer I fill up everyday.

You are not ruining my amusement but if you do whine a lot on here about things. Like I stated this is not my thread and I am not going to get into a pissing contest. Just stated as I see it.

Don't rely on the gauge then, just do the math as you go. Figure out your range with full tanks, 1200,1500 etc. As soon as you have covered half that, call it a full days driving/700 miles then you fill up again. Top off your def every other fuel fill and don't look back.

With winter around the corner I am already getting into the habit of topping the tanks everyday after I do my pretrip. I don't even bother looking at the fuel and def gauges anymore.

If the new load number doesn't work, just use the prior load number. It takes a bit of time for the data to update at times.
