No need for the private conference room for that one... walls will not help.
Hopefully a lesson was learned.
I needed help today ... thankfully the dock hand knew it was my first time there and saw that I was all jacked up on my first attempt. Whew.JohnBoy Thanks this. -

Ok... my day...
Left yard to run just a couple hours south do I could get my 10 in before the four drop day begins... parked and waited. (Due to a traffic jam in a construction area I wasn't going to get my 10 so planned a split 8/2 that I referenced earlier)
Because the other driver wanted to put a single case on my truck cause we were both going to the same place, I rolled out later than hoped.
A tad late to the second stop but I call to let them know... left for the third and hit flood water around whiteville, NC... US 74 closed so I tried to go around... it was flooded too and they don't say so until you get up on it... then had to back up and turn around... ugh.
Got to 3rd drop like 3 hours late... nice guy lived close by so he came back to unload his product... whew.
Heading to SC and shut down... will not be onsite until the time for the drop so I will be starting my clocks a bit earlier than one would hope.
Stopped at Walmart to restock... wow... this place took a hit... empty shelves... they lost power for some time so all the milk and frozen goods can't be sold...
So blue skies, white clouds, and cool breezes but I got to see the flood waters and empty shelves left by Mathew.
Oh and got to drive through some water overflowing a bridge too... that was new.

Anyone know the place in Clinton, IA? Where you need to snake the trailer in? With the great help of @5speed (he grew me a diagram on where exactly to go) it wasn't too bad. Blind side in the last half where cars are located and the Mississippi River on the other side literally 10 feet away.
Got loaded, and now sit in SE Ohio on 35, about 450 miles from dropping this trailer on the yard tomorrow afternoon. Load isn't due until Wednesday.
My DM mentioned to me about getting my truck "winterized" while I'm there... Hmmm.
I have hometime scheduled and approved for this weekend too.Attached Files:
