Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Has anyone ever took a break at that "south of the border" place? I'll be down there at 10 tonight. Ive Never been there before.

Received my marching orders for the morning:

BH-Jarratt, pick up pre-loaded by 10am and drop loaded trailer at BH-Groveport by 10pm. Do I grab an MT while there after?

I have no clue what the protocols are.

Never been to either or of these places. Anything I should know?

Ideas where to rest in Groveport after?

 

I've been there before, kinda a weird place but guess it would be ok if Ur just loo,ing to do a 10

Are U heading SB on 95 to get there? I'm interested to know if 95 has been reopened in the 2 spots that were blocked due to flooding in NC

SOB, not what it once was but if the water has receded the parking is pretty good.

 

How are U getting around the 2 closures?

Not yet... it has crossed my mind too but the timing has never worked out for me. Let us know how it was for you. They have some kind of "truck stop" there but no info on it.

For a place with so many signs, I hardly, if ever, see much going on there.

 

Oh yeah!! I've been to Camp Drake.

 

The rivers are not expected to crest till Friday afternoon. They will continue to rise till then
