I seriously wanna see 400+ Big Green Trucks all together... I will mention to Rusty that it might make for a good photo op for the recruiting efforts or website.

 

I've heard complaining previously about the yard being jammed on weekends, sounds like a mess

 

Philadelphia docks. I personally think it was some kind of racket. The security guard looked homeless (really amiable guy though) and the escorts were these dudes driving around in what looked like their personal cars. I gather the $50 had to be paid in cash as one driver had to head across street to an ATM.

One of the local drivers claimed customs/border officers were onsite last week checking for TWICs, so maybe it was legit...or he was getting kickbacks from the escorts.

 

I doubt it, TWIC only appears to be of any use at poerts and rail yards. I will probably renew mine, but would be hard pressed to advise anyone else to get it.

 

Anything is possible involving Philly labor unions

 

The bobtail spots nearest the building gets jammed, plenty of space otherwise for those that don't mind walking. Could fit 400 tractors easy.

No clue about the layout at the tractor museum though.

Anyway the Chatty one need not worry about parking at the yard or the museum. Once word got out about his drawing up a list of proposed improvements to present to management, there will be a "hot load" sent to his QC taking him far away from Richmond on the days in question.

But seriously, I wasn't busting your chops... just sharing a day in the life of an Abilene Driver... and you did cross my mind as I wrote it... nothing more.

And many of us have noticed your change in attitude here lately... seems much more positive...

Hoping your reality has a similar positive note as well... drive safe buddy.

 

I can't wait to see every trailer on the yard with a tractor parked under it... LOL
