With me... they always sent it via free form message. I remembered reading Wytheville was changed, so I asked my DM while in route just in case it was changed.

No assignment yet. Not hard to say grab an empty and head home, lol. Perhaps they all have their minds set on those hamburgers today, haha.

They have the same system in place at every one of their DC's throughout the country. What a perfect world it would be if every shipper and receiver were like them.

Ya, it's always interesting to wait four hours or so and then get a dead head someplace... like really? LOL

Must be scrapping around looking for a load and then giving up and sending the DH... :)

Maybe after they get their fill of burgers.

Agree... I'm going on home time... just send me the DH and get it over with...

Thatd be the one. And if i would have known about the parking options might have gone there and tried it. Now working on the 14. Might or might not make it to the yard before needing 8 hours to mostly refresh myself

I would go back to Swift in a heartbeat for Costco dedicated. I enjoyed it during training. Grab load at the DC. Then take it to the store and drop and hook. I didn't need to look for anyone to sign paperwork just drop in the door and grab empty and go.

Meijer has something similar up here. Only problem with it is that it's thru JB Hunt and runs Chitcagoland and NW Indiana. Guess the private fleet guys are too scared to run it maybe?????
