I often PTI/Fuel Stop On Duty. As you have to do both on duty, I set the fuel flow on the first click, then PTI, wash windows, ect. That puts my clock at a solid 15 to 20 min PTI and saves time later in the day.Redtwin and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.

I'm home. Got home about 3pm yesterday. My honey do list is a country mile long this weekend.
I had no issues scheduling home time or getting to the house. I did have to stay in the truck an extra night when I could have been home Thursday evening. But, without breaking company policy, the load I had on required it to be under watch at all times. So now it's time to go to work and make my wife happy.
Oh, in case anyone wants to know, the Chocolate Lab went in for a check up yesterday. He's doing great, in fact, the Dr's said he looks like a 12 year old going on 7.WotansVolkman, popcorn169, Lonesome and 6 others Thank this. -
I'm contagious like that...

Maybe we need a telethon for MCS research.5speed and 4mer trucker Thank this. -
This is only my second request for home time since being with Abilene. I'm thinking they were seeing how flexible I could be with my HT. If so was single, no kids. Perhaps I would of said no problem. But I need HT on the weekends to spend it with my family.

Did I say I took the break in the fuel island???
Maybe I fuel, on duty of course, and then wander around the parking lot looking for a place to back in and take a 30... maybe grab a shower too...

And then an hour and a half later I finally get back on the road...
Maybe. -
Thinking the blonde would take issue with that... but I can certainly ask...

Hello everyone, looks like a great group you have here. My name is Jerry, and I am out of Ocala, FL. Took a physical yesterday, and should be headed up to Richmond for orientation soon. Very pleased to be joining this team, I have heard so much good about this company and I feel lucky to get on board. This will be my very first truck driving job, trying to decide whether I should stay in the east or run all 48.
WotansVolkman, ChrisL, Lonesome and 2 others Thank this. -
Sometimes I will pull up to the line and take a 30. In the middle of the night no one cares. The fuel islands are usually empty.Redtwin, JohnBoy and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.
