If they are not adjusted properly the wheels will roll when trying to slide them.

    JohnBoy Thanks this.

Hey, if you want me to totally Eff up a trailer just in hopes of helping, sure, count me in... if however you think it would be both safer and more productive to have a professional do it, then I agree.

Now, if we need to decide if said repair was to be expensed or capitalized, then give me a call.

    :D

That section of 95 is having a terrible time lately... first floods and now fires... I'm heading westward just as soon as the locusts show up.

Well, yes. But I've yet to see one of ours that's that loose. But not unheard of. Plus, KD never mentioned the wheels were rolling when trying to slide them. Kind of an important bit of info ... eh? ;)

    MidWest_MacDaddy and KD5AXG Thank this.

Yea, sorry about that. I have run into a handful of Abilene trailers with the misadjusted brake issues, I was able to swap glad hands and get the job done. The last trailer I had problems with, ended up having an air leak when the pin release was pushed. The pins retracted, but would pop back out before you could get the tandems slid. Abilene paid a TA to help me set the tandems, but wouldn't pay to fix the air leak. SMH

This being a lease trailer puts a whole new spin on things. And, Loves cut their tech hours back. So, here I sit. But they have to fix it.
