There is a different game in town. Tire socks. Lighter and MUCH easier to install, and from what I've read and seen, they work MUCH better than chains.

 

Whew. Scared me. I've never refused a load to Brooklyn, and I drive in the dark all the time!

 

I agree have used them before they work great just don't run on bare pavement
