Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Turned in my notice today. They found a way to jack me out of my home time. I'll be headed home to clean out my truck and drop off the wife and dog. Then take the truck back to Richmond.

I wish to thank everyone for all the advice and bashings. I also wish all the best with Abilene. I just got duped here, but that doesn't mean everyone will. I still believe that where I live and Kimberly had everything to do with my home time issues. So, if you reside in the deep south, (southern Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas) you will have the same issues I did.

When I was pulled off of Joe Bauer's truck, by Kimberly over riding Bill, because she was afraid that I'd screw up Joe's home time, I had no idea that such a double standard existed here. But, there is.

So sorry I never got to meet @JohnBoy, @Hudson_MacBeth , or even @MidWest_MacDaddy in person. I'm missing some in this list, and I apologize.

Did he mention whether they repair it at the yard?. I was actually contemplating buying one of those DIY filler kits and trying to prevent it spreading.

He said they had a glass guy who was there whenever they needed him, he would come in everyday if they need him to.

Im not actully due there until thursday. I was trying to see if I could run out my clock for a couple days and get there rather than dip into a 3rd day. That idea is shot now as didnt want to risk not finding parking tonight off I 95 so shut down way earlier than I wanted to.

 

Not sure why I didn't see this earlier, I would have thanked you much sooner.
