    Does this only apply if you are bobtailing or can you be simply empty and not on assignment? I understand that owner operators do this all the time.

    I am sitting in Albuquerque NM; been awake since 3 am. Waiting to swap with another driver by 4:30 but he is seriously sick so I am concerned he might be running late. I can barely understand what he is saying on the phone. When I drop this load I am heading home for four days! So ready to see the family and take the kids trick or treating!
