Im still taking 301 that way I can blame you if I'm late.

Google maps isnt showing any delays around DC, but things can change drastically in the couple hours it would take to get there.

Yup... in a nutshell... if one has some skin in the game (risk) then they might give a #### about what they are doing out here.

I agree with your whole post. Especially this part. ... I had the same "feeling" and thoughts since first reading his comments on this thread. ;)

Me and redtwin are sitting here at our delivery after picking up at the same place yesterday. Glad i had my twic card. Made life easier.

Yesterdays unload of hp was much more eventful than this has been. The short version is 8am apt, 930ish before anyone shows up, no space for my 11 cases in the 'warehouse' of old trailers. Guys say its gonna be awhile before someone comes with another trailer and/or can move some so we can unload you. They say noon at earliest.

They finally decide to take the one case off a trl and put all mine on there. Actually leave at noon

Of course this is the day i get a preplan around 9am. Talk to broker and sounds like facility closes at 4, im 2 hours north in northern jersey. Its a rainy messy weekday, so absolutely no way there would ever be a traffic slowdown....

Try to keep dispatch and broker in loop that until this comedy of errors is done i have no clue if i can make pu. Dispatch basically says u have time. Theres no reason you cant. Only 87 miles away.

O well. At end of day freight moved on time safely.
