You're in Atlanta - and call it a town that has "nothing to offer"?

Great restaurants, great music scene. No transpo can make it difficult - especially if you're just starting out and have no $$ for Uber to get around. there's ALWAYS something to do in Atlanta.

    Where abouts are you "stuck"?

Great company to work for, biggest complaint the last 4 years? Poor planning.

Unreal, totally unreal. We woke up in Erick Oklahoma yesterday morning, drove straight through to the WM DC in Gordonsville Va. had an 0915 appt this morning, got there at 0445, got assigned a door at 0515, went right to sleep, an hour and fifteen minutes later my phone blows up, it's WM, come inside, your paperwork is ready. I walk inside and get handed my paperwork, signed. I asked the lady behind the window if they unloaded the right truck. She laughed, I laughed and was talking to myself as I walked back to my truck. I was up the street drinking coffee waiting on dispatch to get in. Usually at this point of the day I have something bad to say about WM, but for the life of me, I'm at a loss for words.

Got Ray set up to finish his training with a NE driver. He's leaving Sunday night and should be solo by Wednesday. Me? My load just got loaded going to Dallas for Monday morning. I'm in the motel up the street enjoying a nothing night. My biggest chore tonight is to run up to Walmart and get my cookies and milk.

Yes you will, poo happens, you'll get through this and will be solo shortly. Just don't try to reinvent the wheel. Especially here, for whatever the reason, Abilene does things a little strange at times.

Never in 4 years, and a dozen times delivering there has it been this fast and efficient. I'm still at a loss for words.

Met my buddy CHRALB at the bar next door. I don't drink, but ate something and chatted with him. I think he's still there, I'll walk over to see if he's still able to stand up.
