Hey I don't even drive for Abiline and I enjoy the read.

 

@MidWest_MacDaddy i was referred to you. Have question about iPhone 4. I had to borrow my daughters old iPhone 4. Is there anyway to mirror the screen onto a TV with a adapter to hdmi? Do they make one. I have only had androids.

Yes, you have three options, maybe more if I think about it for a bit.

First, are you staying with Apple now or just need a temp fix? The first two are Apple Fixes... the third one is more generic.


Option 1: Get an Apple TV and connect it to the TV. Then you can wirelessly AirPlay (stream) content from the iPhone to the Apple TV

Or

Option 2: Get a little Apple Dongle that connects the iPhone to an HDMI cable for a wired connection directly to the TV.

Or

Option 3: (I think this works) ... if you come from Android and have one of those Google Cast thingies... plug it into the TV and then stream from the Google Apps... Amazon App might work too as well as other Apps that can "see" the Google Cast.

@MidWest_MacDaddy Where would I get the apple dongle. That's the same set up I had with my android. Best Buy? Any idea on the cost? Thanks for your help
