While that's been my SOP as well, I can see what JB is saying too and that is probably what's causing the trailers to float from yard to yard as you mentioned.

Any word on the new "Trailer Wrangler" position? Have they filled it yet or still open?

 

Yup, that's what I do now, took me a couple wild goose chases to figure that out.

What about the new people starting that don't read this forum though?.

 

You will get banged up for sure but will have a better chance of survival tangled up in the bunk net than crashing through the windshield and having a truck or trailer landing on you, maybe.

Ive had a good week. No complaints here. Mileage recovered nicely after last week. No major issues with brokers, esp compared to others here.

Now just waiting for this reefer warehouse to finish loading so i can get back to richmond

 

Hooked up to a reefer in the yard this morning bound for Shelbyville, IN. Slight problem, though: No paperwork. The little paperwork holder thingy at the front of the trailer is missing the cover, and there's no paperwork to be found anywhere.

Not even sure what to do now.

 

Just go to the window and they will probably have it there or can get a copy.
