One saving grace, it's 995 miles from here to my house, if it was a little closer I'd be check calling in from Lake Worth in the morning.

Might have been easier to just roll the 9 miles over there and get a copy, no?

If I think about this a little longer, I just might drive home with this rental car. IMG_0047.JPG

Well, got booted from the parking lot next to the Walmart in Wytheville... only parked there to do some quick shopping and start my driving day... after I came out, a cop stopped by giving as many as possible the opportunity to move before he started handing out tickets.

Guess Walmart doesn't own that area and we can park behind Walmart if there is room.

Guess I really don't have the need to park there again... plenty of Walmarts to shop at.

Oh, and it's MUCH easier to shop at 3am... LOL

And hey @chralb i used that Inactive Driver option vs signing out completely today to roll to PFJ and then to Walmart... once I found it, works much easier.

    Thanks for the tip.

Is it me, or does anyone else feel pooped on and second rate when you send a QC message in and no one answers? I mean right now I could give a #### less if I ever hear from dispatch, but at least let me know I can spend the weekend here in lovely West Memphis. I don't care how busy you are, send a response. And with all the trucks piled in Richmond, and here, it's not like they have the whole fleet to dispatch. Either hire more help, or get rid of the dead weight.

Well then I'm glad I took them up on the offer to go home early. I'd hate to miss an appointment I've had for months because of slow freight and dispatch that won't even answer john.

I'd be highly pissed!! I'm developed here lately the idc about this industry. I'm losing the passion I once had for it.

Totally agree... sometimes I don't need to know a load is coming but I would be just as happy to know nothing is coming... then I can go to plan B... whatever that may be.

But, we all know communication is not Abilene's strong suit... it used to frustrate me but then I realized it's actually not a "fault within the corporate culture" but rather a "business model of the corporate culture".

    Communication creates questions.
    Questions require Answers.
Answers require time which is inefficient.
    Less communication equals more efficiency.
