Anybody ever delivered to Beach Trading Co. in Edison, NJ? I have a load due down there tomorrow at 10am, and I'm wondering how early they'll take me. Also wondering if I can park overnight in their yard.
If I want to make it back here tomorrow for hometime Friday, I need to get there early, park on their yard, squeeze in a 10 while there, and then start heading back here tomorrow night.

Well I have enjoyed working with you guys and I'll stay in touch but I'm no longer on team Abilene. I'll drop in from time to time. Take care.

Ya, bad on me to care about his back... {shrug}
But maybe his next company will be no touch.

Sitting MT in Sanford FL after delivering to Cost Plus at 6am. Requested a load I can drop at the yard in hopes of getting something juicy on Friday for the weekend. Still asking to head West at least once in a while. Not holding my breath but who knows.
Dragging a refer so a paper load from GA isn't gonna happen. Praying they don't send me to that cold storage. I'm not in the mood for Chinese.... lol
MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -

Man, I wouldn't be too sure. I had a two-stop load last week involving a HP cooler and a bowling pin resetting machine that they TRIED to load onto a reefer. My instructions were to hook up to a dry van with these items already loaded, which I did. But then they told me to bump the dock at the Richmond yard so that Zip could take those items off the dry van and load them onto a reefer.
My guess is that they had Plans(tm) for my return trip that required me to have a reefer. However, the bowling pin resetting machine wouldn't fit through the door of the reefer, so those plans were aborted and I rolled out with the dry van as originally instructed.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
Well, coming off HT... Waiting in the cab having McD's for breakfast... sent in "ready to roll if/when needed" via QC... guess I could do a bit of housekeeping while I wait.

Actually there was a last minute change to that. I'm actually going to work for a family run business. I even get to pick my own work schedule.ChrisL, Lonesome and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.
