Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

If you are still at the Roadhouse, I just walked in.... only took three hours to get a BT back to the yard... LOL

 

Rumors say it's still not good coming back out of Richmond...

We will see what reality is come Morning.

 

Has to be better than that drop lot I spent last weekend in.

 

Just got back to the yard...had 24 hours to deliver a load on thursday. Thankfully i was on yard and could do things at home

Went to store under construction. They knew we were coming...yet had to make a driveway and fill a mud hole so we could get in. This was in addition to moving fences and cars, stopping traffic, and blindsidng in with the sun blinding

Thankfully there were 2 of us so we could get it done together safely and efficently.

All part of the adventure. Just a so so week freight and miles wise. Gonna write truck up for check engine light, do a lil cleaning, get my load for sunday and hopefully head home.

Whos still in richmond?

 

I'm 5 miles away at a consignee that hasn't started unloading me yet.

 

True... at least there are restrooms and showers at the yard.

 

I'm at @JohnBoy 's favorite place. W Memphis. Don't know what I'm getting, except a PM while I'm here. And a headlight. One went bye bye this morning on the drive here and I'm just too lazy to change it myself!

Oh, and someone please shoot me if I EVER come to this heck hole needing a shower ever again! Not just our yard, but the Loves as well. Sheesh!!!!

 

So, there was no way to make Crawford by 6am so I called the broker (well, text actually) and told them they need to push it back some. They did ... to 7pm!

I said ummmm .... no, I'm not babysitting it that long so I called the reciever and set it up for the only morning spot they had at 8am. Got here on the dot and being unloaded now.

Probably DH to the yard from here.
