Yeah, I see they're mainly mine for trying to keep the facts straight. That's cool, I'm done here anyway. Enjoy MD's thread folks. .... LOL .... :)

You never know about MD though. His friends list gets shorter and shorter everyday. Must be his dry personality. Or.....the big gaps to assumptions he comes up with. Lol.. Abilene's "minimum wage trucking" cheerleader. :biggrin_2559:

Ok. So can someone please splain to me how a PM in WM can be done in 2 hours and it takes 2 days in Richmond? Oh, wait, I think I know. Leadership. Got my reload and off I went to pick up furniture in Ecru MS headed for Williamsburg for Monday. No fuss, no muss. 1 1/2 hours later, viola! Even got to cook my dinner AND eat it while being loaded. Knock on the door came right as I was putting leftovers in the fridge.

Two days start to finish or takes two days to get your truck in the shop. That's why I have PMs done on home time.

Usually try to get work done on my home time as well, but I hate leaving my truck at the yard. It's my pet peeve, true, but IMO, it shouldn't take 8 hours to do a PM, or days to schedule it. And Richmond is always backed up forever because, well, again, IMO, they waste way too much time and don't have quality people. Goes back to leadership.

Just like drivers new mechanics have to start somewhere. How much experience do the really good mechanics have? I'm guessing a lot of years.
