In Richmond they probably get pulled off jobs for higher priorities a lot more.

God I hope so, if not, it's a long walk to South Florida. In all seriousness, if you live over 50 miles from Richmond you take the truck home.

I'm positive that happens as have had it happen to me more than once, but if they wouldn't dick around, that wouldn't be as much of an issue as it is. I guarantee that if you are a pet, your truck gets worked on first. Just like when you put your truck in the shop and all they do is clear the codes so it's back in there for the same issue 3 weeks later, costing you more money and down time when it should've been fixed the first time. I've personally experienced that more times than I can count. This last time, I was so irritated about it, I actually said, " How about fixing it this time instead of just clearing the codes?". Got a dirty look from Big J, but it got fixed.

If they would pay more, they might get a better quality mechanic. If they would treat them a little better, same thing. If they would get rid of dead weight, they could pay more. I have a friend, who is a #### good diesel mechanic, inquire about a job. When he was told what he'd make, he laughed at Big J. He made more as a green horn 15 years ago! I could go on and on about it, but what's the point? It is what it is.

8 hours isn't bad. Last time I was there from 12noon on a Friday til Monday morning. I'm not sure what happens. Buy rather than complain, I got my walmart shopping out of the way, all my laundry done, and even car shopped at the dealer across from the pilot.

No car in Richmond. So being stuck at the yard isn't my idea of a good time.

The black hole still has its grip, last night's load got cancelled. Trying to muster the motivation to go ask for another.

Sitting on the yard tends to take the wind out of my sails.

I dont own a car at all so the yard is still my best option for sitting as i have all the facilities of home.

The wash guys did my truck yesterday so thats a yard bonus too.

Did they unplug all the toilets? I heard they were all plugged up this week along with the showers, no one was able to drop a deuce or wash their arse.
